5x Premium Palo Santo incense sticks infused with Apple powder, hand rolled by Peruvian artisans, made from 100% natural ingredients (resin from wild harvested palo santo trees is combined with gum from Acacia trees). They have a slightly fruity scent that's intermingled with the gentle, woody fragrance of palo. Throughout history and mythology the apple is both revered and used as a symbol of discord. The Celts believed it was magical, the fruit of Other-World which attracted love and fertility, the Irish and a number of myths state it represents immortality, its power revealed when cut in half and the 5 pointed star of the pentagram is exposed within. Other stories cast a slightly darker shadow on the fruit, touting it as a representation of over indulgance and earthly desires or in some cases a metaphorically "poison apple" given as a seeming gift with unsavoury intent. Whatever the belief, the apple is steeped in history, it's almost completely round shape a symbol of the infinite nature of our existence.
