Formation: Ocean Jasper is a spherulitic variety of chalcedony very rich in silica, spherulites are the interesting orb like structures with tendril like outlines, that are often present in Ocean Jasper.
Colours: Ocean Jasper comes in a variety of usually mixed colours, purples, greens, dark blues, earthy browns, reds and creams often intermingle to create gorgeously unique designs and colour combinations. Please note that some stones can be predominantly one colour.
